Shipping & Returns
Items couriered within New Zealand will be delivered to the address specified within 2 – 5 working days. However, if the product is not in stock we will advise on availability and delivery. Freight fee is determined by size and weight, and will include parcel tracking for security purposes.
Please note, large fragile items may require special packaging and freight to ensure they are delivered to you safely, in this instance Monterey Gallery will contact you with an updated freight quote.
International shipping is possible; freight fee is determined by size and weight, and will include tracking for security purposes. International shipping may be subject to duties and taxes specific to the country the goods are delivered to. Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient/purchaser.
Don't want to pay for shipping? No problem, contact us and we can place items on hold for you for up to seven days and supply you with our bank details for online payments or deposits of desired items.
Please note that it is at the discretion of Monterey Gallery to exchange or credit an item that is unwanted, due to a change of mind. However, in the event that Monterey Gallery does allow such a return, the item must be returned within 14 days of purchase in its original, unopened condition, and presented with the original receipt, exchange card, or other proof of purchase.
We are unable to accept returned items that have been damaged by the customer or specifically commissioned on behalf of the customer. Also, there are no refunds or exchanges on sale items or layby items.
Goods may be returned to Monterey Gallery if they are faulty or unfit for purpose. Monterey Gallery reserves the right to repair or replace goods being returned. If the item is unable to be repaired or replaced, Monterey Gallery can offer an in store credit or gift voucher valid for 12 months. Monterey Gallery does not issue cash refunds. However, if a monetary refund is agreed upon at the discretion of Monterey Gallery, the funds will only be transferred into a designated bank account.
We ask that you sign and check all goods on receipt as we cannot be held responsible once the chain of custody is broken. If the product has been damaged in transit by Monterey Gallery's carriers, please notify us with 48 hours of receiving your order and we will contact the courier company directly to resolve this. Please note that claims must be made within seven days of delivery of the item. Monterey Gallery will cover any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement.
We must be notified of your intention to return an item shipped to you, within three working days of receipt of your order, and receive the returned item within seven working days of receipt of your order. You will need to cover the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty. The item being returned must be safely and securely packaged in its original packaging.
