Online Purchases

Online purchases are to be paid for by credit card (MasterCard or Visa).  All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST of 15%.  Online purchases will be shipped from Monterey Gallery within 2-5 working days, we will contact you to advise when your item has been shipped and provide you with parcel tracking information.

Alternatively; Direct Debit Payments may also be made by bank deposit/internet banking.  Over the phone payments can also be arranged. Please contact us to do so, we can hold the item for up to seven days prior to payment being made.

All items on our website are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are unavailable and will do our best to fulfil the online order, cancel the order or assist with other alternatives.

24hr Trial

We encourage our customers to trial artworks within their own space.  Monterey Gallery offers a 24 hour loan service, free of charge, so you can see how an artwork or object fits within your home or office.  Full contact and credit card details are recorded for security purposes and are kept confidential.  We can help with delivery of the artwork, just let us know.

Lay-by

We can support the growth of your art collection in an affordable and manageable way.  We offer an 8 week Lay-by term, with a required first deposit of 30% followed by regular payments during the 8 week period.  Monterey Gallery will store the artwork safely until full payment has been made.

Monterey Gallery has the right to cancel the lay-by if the client does not abide by the terms & conditions, for example if regular payment instalments are not made or the outstanding balance is not paid in full at the end of the 8 week term Monterey will cancel the lay-by and the client will receive a full refund by bank deposit.

Pay As You Enjoy

Pay As You Enjoy is a payment plan that lets you enjoy your new artwork at home and complete the payment of your investment in installments.

To qualify for this payment plan artworks must be over $1000.  There is a minimum 50% deposit required before artwork/s can be taken home, unless otherwise agreed with Montery Gallery. The outstanding balance must be paid within 8 weeks of the initial deposit, via credit card or online banking.

Upon starting a Pay As You Enjoy plan and making the initial deposit, you become the owner of the artwork/s.  The outstanding amount becomes a debt to Monterey Gallery Ltd which you agree to repay in installments over 8 weeks, or by recorded agreement with Monterey Gallery.

Monterey Gallery will record your full contact details including phone number, address, and email address.  Monterey respects your privacy, your personal and credit card information is kept strictly confidential.

If payments are made by credit card, Monterey Gallery will record your authorised credit card details and will debit the installments within 8 weeks or the agreed time.   Monterey Gallery will notify you by phone before each instalment.  Alternatively we expect installments to be made regularly within 8 weeks via direct bank deposit/online banking.

If for any reason the amount charged to your credit card is declined, or a bank deposit is not received, we will contact you for an alternative means of payment.  If an amount remains outstanding for more than 14 days, the debt will be referred to a debt collection agency and all costs incurred by Monterey Gallery in the recovery of the debt are payable by the client.
